Barcelona beat Werder Bremen 2 - 0, meaning the Champions League holder qualified from Group A.

Ronaldinho opened the scoring with a clever free kick on 13 minutes. Expecting a lofted shot from the edge of the area, the Werder Bremen wall jumped in anticipation allowing the cheeky Brazilian to roll the ball under the wall and into the bottom corner of the net.

Just 5 minutes later, Barçelona scored again. Ronaldinho started the move when he picked out the run of Ludovic Giuly, the winger crossed for Gudjohnsen to finish stylishly.

Barcelona finished second in Group A with 11 points, two points behind Chelsea, who beat Levski Sofia 2-0. Bremen finished in third place with 10.

Bremen’s consolation for finishing third means a return to the UEFA Cup for the first time since 2003.
