Just hours after Harry Redknapp said Arsenal wouldn’t win the Premier League this season, Rio Ferdinand has also written off the chances of Arsene Wenger’s side.
The England defender maintains that the title will go to either his team, the defending champions, Chelsea or Liverpool.
Arsenal are currently 8 points adrift of Liverpool, 7 behind Chelsea and 2 off United having already lost 5 of their 17 Premier League games this campaign.
Speaking to BBC Radio, Ferdinand said:
I presume us, Chelsea and Liverpool will start pulling away a bit after Christmas.
It’s not beyond Arsenal, it’s just my personal opinion that it will be between us three this season.
