The number 3 is actually a sponsor’s logo – they are a mobile phone company in Ireland. Replicas of our national shirt have been sold with a sponsor’s logo on the front since the late 1980s. Awful

I’m guessing it could be the player’s number? If it had some actual meaning behind it then I think it’d be confusing for the referee cus it’s become somewhat of a standard for national kits to have numbers on the front and back… either way i find it hideous…

that is a BEAUTIFUL shirt! the slight differnce in green for striped with gold is class. best kit of the season so far i reckon. not boring and conservative, but simple and a NEW DESIGN
