PUMA V1.08 - Black / White / Olympian Blue
There’s nothing like a new colourway to modernise a football boot….

Using Puma’s UNI technology, this new v1.08 football boot construction secures an industry leading fit by perfectly replicating the unique PUMA AptoLast. The v1.08 was created with one thing in mind - to get you to the ball even faster. The Puma football boot is the evolution of its successful predecessor the V1 06.

Upper: Textile, microfibre with grip texture, TPU injected external heel counter.
Midsole: Internal chassis, carbon fibre, double-density TPU. The upper uses a thin lightweight textile material reinforced by a thin layer of microfibre for improved protection and durability.
Outsole: Two-pieces TPU outsole, pointed stud configuration. Suitable for use on firm ground surfaces. The two-piece split outsole further reduces weight whilst enhancing the fit.
Internal: The internal chassis is the spine of the v1.08. Its double density TPU frame provides stability utilising a carbon fibre plate to keep weight down.
Worn by: Anelka, Bentley, Crouch, Frei
Price: Around £120

This boot shows trenendous power when a ball is struck at the top of the toes. The extended outsole seems to transmit ball strike energy to the carbon fibre plate increasing its flex. When the plate rebounds from this increased flex, the ball explodes off of the foot. When the ball is struck flat on top of the foot so that there is little spin, the ball flight can really fool a keepper.
