Puma have today released the third generation of the v-Konstrukt football boot, the v-Konstrukt III.

Incorporating a fresh, new design and in a gold, white and black colourway, the v-Konstrukt III should certainly stand out on the pitch and Puma insist that the high technical spec will provide the comfort and protection required for ultimate game performance.

Indeed, Puma have gone big on protection with this boot.

There’s what described as a ball impact guard plus a finger shaped external heel counter. The dual density EVA creates a snug fit around the heel too, also providing maximum cushioning by adapting to the heel and ankle whilst the integrated DuoCell unit also results in optimal cushioning when running.

Comfort is another plus point being touted by Puma. The v-Konstrukt III features premium full grain, supersoft leather and the Puma Aptolast which Puma say provides a glove like fit allowing the upper to perfectly mould to the foot, maximising player energy.

Other features of the v-Konstrukt III include off centered lacing reducing the ball impact and metal tipped conical studs.

Endorsed by the likes of international players such as Shay Given, David Wheater and Nemanja Vidic (as pictured above), the Puma v-Konstrukt III is available from today and will retail at £90.

I have a bone that sticks out on both of my heels. It’s very common with the players on my team, so i need to ask:
What is the padding like/material on the inside of the boot where the heel would be?
I find i get blisters unless they are spongy like adidas preds, or the old puma execs.
Cheers!
