Following on closely from the launch of the Limited PUMA King XL Italia, the German manufacturers have wasted little time in bringing out the next version of the classic boot in a White / Black colourway with Red trim.

With raised bead line, toe overlay and lateral stability insert inspired by the Eusébio boot 40 years ago, the new King XL is executed with today’s best production technology.

Super-soft, ultra-thin full-grain leather is complemented by a high-density silicon heel counter and conical firm ground stud construction for optimal stability and maneuverability.

The upper is embossed with a leaping cat logo on the vamp and King logo on the lateral side.

Expected to wear the King XL in season 09 / 10 are Manchester United’s Michael Carrick, new Manchester City signing Roque Santa Cruz and the Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.

The boot goes on retail sale on 1st July and will cost £89.99.
