Following the phenomenal White / Red / Limoges launch colourway, Puma have been decking their speed boots in bright and bold colourways – but to kick off 2013, they’re going back to basics with this stunning Puma EvoSPEED 1 – White / Puma Silver!

Whilst Puma have previously gone for fan-pleasing Blackout and Triple-White colourways on the PowerCat line, the German brand have stopped just shy of doing the same on their 185g evoSPEED 1.
Whilst the majority of the boot is a crisp, clean white, Puma have left their Formstripe branding in a ghostly silver, giving the Puma EvoSPEED 1 - White / Puma Silver an incredibly unique look.
Keen-eyed boot-spotters might have already seen these on the feet of German hitman Mario Gomez, who seems to have taken this version of the Puma evoSPEED 1 as his signature colourway (for the time being)!
As well as letting us get a glimpse of how they’ll look on the pitch (awesome, by the way) it also shows that Puma are throwing some support behind this very unusual colourway.
Fans of adidas’ mostly-white releases know that – whilst killer in the looks department – receive no official on-pitch support, so it’s interesting that Puma want these boots to be visible!
The ghostly vibe of the Puma EvoSPEED 1 - White / Puma Silver colourway is perfectly fitting for the evoSPEED’s ethos of low-profile speed and deft agility.
The speedCELL synthetic upper is comprised of a single layer, for a true feel on the ball, whilst the one-piece duoFLEX TPU outsole is specially contoured to move with the anatomical needs of the foot – as well as being super-light.
Shipping from today, the Puma EvoSPEED 1 - White / Puma Silver will set you back £135 or $185 US.
