Nike’s heritage-inspired boots draw upon the Swoosh’s 40+ years in the boot market to combine classic styling with the sort of innovation that they are renowned for.
The forefoot is K-Leather (which always looks at it’s best on black colourways!) for optimum touch and feel on the ball. The rest of the boot is Nike’s Kangalite – lighter and more waterproof than it’s natural cousin, the Kangalite wraps around the midfoot and heel.
Nike have also taken extra care in the Tiempo Legend IV‘s construction. The front vamp uses two types of stitchings; the instep as minimally stitched to help the toes bend and offer uninterrupted touch on the ball, but the medial area on the outside of the boot is quilted to reduce unwanted stretching.
Whilst we don’t expect this colourway to' receive' any official on-pitch support, we wouldn’t be at all surprised if it were snuck onto the pitch on the feet of a few pro’s who appreciate the old-school styling!
Launching January 1st for around 'Ĺ130 / $160, will you be picking up the Nike Tiempo Legend IV' – Black / White / Gold?
