Cristiano Ronaldo, for many ‘the’ face of the Nike Mercurial Vapor range, is set to sign a huge new deal with the American manufacturer.
According to newspaper reports, the Portuguese international and Manchester United winger is in line to agree a deal which will see him paid a staggering £6 million a year, the biggest ever annual endorsement package in the game.
The move could also assist United in keeping Ronaldo at Old Trafford as Nike are unlikely to want him to move to Real Madrid who are sponsored by Adidas. In addition, Nike are also the kit sponsors at Old Trafford.

Being so important to Nike, it’s widely expected that Ronaldo will be given first use of the new Vapor Superfly when it is re-launched this summer as well as seeing his CR7 leisure range getting even more Nike backing.

he deserves his own colorway of the mercurial just like rooney deserves his own colorway of the total 90’s. i mean come on, ronaldinho got 2 of his own colorways of the tiempo legend before getting his own model of the tiempos. and now look at ronaldinho, fallen off completley.
