David Villa is a potential transfer target for Premier League side Manchester City.
According to Sky Sports News, Valencia have confirmed that they’ve held talks with City over a possible move for the Spanish international striker.
Although Villa has a contract with Valencia that runs to 2014, it’s thought that the Spanish side may want to cash in on their prized asset amidst the current economic climate.
A Valencia spokesman confirmed that a meeting with City representatives had taken place saying:
Yes, it’s true but they didn’t make us any offer.
The president (Vicente Soriano) asked for a significant amount and they didn’t agree.

I’ve seen that movie before, Manchester City is acting like Chelsea when Abramovich(not sure how to spell it) took over, they were targeting everyone.
