Lotto, the leading Italian football boot brand have signed the England and Portsmouth defender Glen Johnson on a three-year contract.

Lotto have announced that Portsmouth and England full back Glen Johnson will be wearing Lotto football boots for the next three years.

This season Glen Johnson will be wearing Lotto’s Zhero Leggenda Due football boots, fitted with the brand-new Twist’ngo technology - the pivoting stud that makes turning easier and reduces the risk of injury.

Johnson has been wearing the Lotto football boots since the start of this season, replacing the Adidas Predator Power Swerve football boots he used last season.

Glen Johnson Profile

Glen Johnson was born in London in August 1984. For a 24 year old he has already achieved a great deal in his career. He came through the youth system at West Ham before moving to Chelsea for a fee of £6 million.

At Chelsea Johnson, despite not always being a regular, picked up a League Cup and two Premier League trophies. He then moved on to his current club Portsmouth in a £4 million transfer, where he added the FA Cup to his list of honours.

Johnson is also a regular in the England squad.

The agreement also includes the sponsoring of Glen Johnson’s soccer school based in Kent which involves 2,000 children every month from the ages of 4 up to 16. In fact, the Italian sportswear company will be supplying to these potential future talents its top-of-the range performance football apparel, boots and accessories collection. Lotto Sport Italia has been close to children from its inception and is delighted to be part of this important educational project aimed at developing and transmitting the passion of football as a moment of enjoyment, socialising and having respect for their opponent.
