Footy Boots unveil a new signing. A leading League 1 player will be writing a fortnightly column, starting next week.
Here at Footy Boots, we see ourselves at the grassroots level of the game. We know most Footy-Boots regulars are keen players themselves and may be dreaming of becoming a professional footballer in the future. Others amongst you may have once dreamt of donning your Adidas Copa Mondials football boots alongside David Beckham’s and his Predator Absolute Globes, but now ply your trade for fun in the local park on a Saturday afternoon.
The Footy-Boots.com team hope we can help enable you to relive your past dreams, or your future hopes by adding a current young professional footballer to our ranks and giving you an insight into the professional game.
Rather than speaking to a top millionaire international football player (too expensive and protected in what they say), we unveil the signing of League One’s Northampton Town central midfielder, Giles Coke.
Giles Coke
Twenty one year old Giles Coke has signed for Footy Boots and will be giving us his honest views on what it was like having been a grassroots player himself, dreaming of becoming a professional player, only to see his dream squashed, before bouncing back through determination and hard work to gain himself a professional contract.
Giles will write a fortnightly Wednesday column on Footy-Boots, talking about his life on and off the pitch, his news, thoughts, predictions, latest gossip, and telling you what it’s really like to be a professional footballer, as well as being on hand to answer as many of your questions as he can.
Giles will write his first column next week; firstly introducing himself and explaining how he has got where he is today, and which football boots have helped him get there!
Click here to leave Giles a question in our comments section; a selection of questions will be answered in his column.
