England Home Shirt - Football Shirt of the Year

In the category with the most competition, the England Home Shirt came up trumps to become the Football Shirt of 2009.
Initial nominations were kindly supplied to Footy-Boots.com by the football shirt specialists, FootballShirtCulture.com
Umbro brought together the traditional values of classic tailoring with modern fabric technology and revolutionary design philosophy to create this shirt.
The new England kit honours the past, whilst looking forward to the future.
Trevor Cairns, Chief Marketing Officer of Umbro:
We’re really delighted that fans have voted the England shirt as the winning Football Shirt of the Year. It’s testimony to the thought and time the design team gave to every detail.
The England shirt was the first Umbro shirt to benefit from our football tailoring concept and it’s great to know that the fans love the end result.
Thank you to everyone that voted for us.

lol well im from california and never been to england and i still think this is a great shirt…
i really prefer the understated classiness of this jersey…i own it and i must say its a very well constructed and tailored shirt.
i guess i just prefer old school and classy over new school and flashy. much how i prefer a whiteout legend over a citron vapor.
it just seems many jerseys as of late are getting ridiculous looking, whats wrong with some minimalism?
i dunno, to each their own i guess.
