Umbro SX Football Boots - Contrasting Colours, Harmonious Design

Following the Footy-Boots article on the Umbro X Boot III football boot (Read it here), we thought we should mention another Umbro football boot, that we are regularly asked about and a football boot that is causing a stir with players, fans and commentators - the Umbro SX. This football boot was released last year under the tag line, “Two Sides One Goal”, as the football boots are paired in contrasting colours - the main one being the left football boot in black and the right football boot in red. This simple styling or gimmick has confused many fans and commentators when worn by players as they mistakenly believe the player has made a “school-boy error” when lacing up their footy boots!

The Story of SX Football Boots

Although English company Umbro remain a force in the UK, their unique football boots are beginning to make their mark around the footballing globe at the highest levels of the game - in fact the Umbro SX football boot has been seen recently worn by Barcelona’s Deco. The Umbro SX is due for a new release of colourways in July 2007, and we hope Umbro keep up their liking of flair and innovation in the new football boots.
