Hi Jake,

Personally I didn’t mind the sole, I thought it was pretty much average for a heritage boot – but the chances are, that if you didn’t like the XL, you probably won’t like the sole on these – hope that helps!

I’m also interested to hear about the stiffness of the sole. The XL’s outsole was so stiff for me, it made it hard to play in them. The only way I can give these a chance is if they are a lot more flexible.

Not my kind of boot because it ain’t wide. Still feel Adizero leather is quite hard to beat.

But I love your review very thorough – answering very thoroughly the questions we have in mind.

How is the outsole in terms of flexibility?
How was the sizing vs. a common boot like the Legend or the Laser in terms of length?

The XL was one of the stiffest boots on the market and a that was a key point to me in not buying a pair. I know the look of the outsole is the same as the XL but they supposedly used a lighter plastic that I would guess has more flex but I have yet to try these out.

Also the XL fit on the small side if anything, that is why I asked about the length.

If they are stiff it may be worth waiting to see what the Japan release of these is like being they are modeled somewhat on Diego’s 86 boot which is similar to the ParaMexico.

Hey guys, I agree to some extent about the breaking in comments.

Like you guys say, breaking in is part of life and everyone should be prepared for it – but the Puma King Finale has such an unusual fit at first I thought it was well worth highlighting for anyone that fancies a pair.
