If England qualify they end up with McClaren for at least another year. I ask you which is better? If I didn't think that the squad that will be available in the summer of '08 could win the tournament I'd actually contemplate supporting Croatia to beat England - just so that McClaren gets a taxi. This guy has achieved nothing as a manager and 'may' fluff his way into qualifying for the Euro 2008. This is a squad packed with world class players yet we have relied on Israel and Macedonia to help us get through. McClaren has rich talent available; Ferdinand - Terry - A. Cole - Gerrard - Rooney Not many other national teams can lay claim to four world class players add to that J Cole - Richards - Owen and England should be sailing into these finals. My ideal is that England qualify against Croatia and the English FA stand up to be counted and let McClaren go so we can get someone in who can manage an English team rich on talent.
