cisse leg breakFrance and Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse’s dreams of appearing in World Cup 2006 are over after he broke his right leg in the French teams final warm up game against China (France 3-1 China).
Cisse was the French top scorer in World Cup qualifying games, with four goals. In October 2004, he had surgery for a double fracture of his left leg in his first season with Liverpool. This is really sad news for Cisse and could threaten his career.

Watching the video (view here) of the injury over and over it looks like Cisse had his Adidas TUNiT F50+ football boots caught in the turf and the twist broke his leg.
