Adidas complete Chelsea’s range of kits for the 2010-2011 season with this new Chelsea FC Third Shirt 2010-11.

Chelsea FC Third Shirt 2010-11

Modelled here by Ivorian midfielder Salomon Kalou (who we have an exclusive interview with online now) the Chelsea FC Third Shirt 2010-11 certainly is a striking piece of design from manufacturers adidas.

The Neon Green of the kit is obviously the talking point, but Stamford Bridge regulars should be getting used to bold away kit colours by now!

The faded stripe through the centre of the Chelsea FC Third Shirt 2010-11 is also a nice touch, accommodating sponsors Samsung nicely into the design. The Royal Blur through the centre of the strip also ties it into the colours of the new Chelsea FC Home shirt quite nicely too.

The shorts (mercifully) are mostly black, using the striking neon as the trim, tying it all in with the socks too – which once again feature the iconic Chelsea Lion.

Tech Spec

For the first time in club football, adidas TechFit features directly in the playing shirt, enhancing muscle performance.

TechFit -  On the field, the players’ kits will incorporate adidas’ cutting edge TechFit technology, to help improve speed, increased endurance capabilities and enhanced muscle focus proprioception. This works by stabilising and focusing the muscles’ energy to generate explosive acceleration and deliver maximum power output.

Climacool -The shirts also feature adidas ClimaCool technology, a mixture of heat and moisture controlling materials, ventilation channels and 3D fabrics which improve air flow to the skin in the key heat zones.

Price: £43 adults / £33 children

Availability: Now on pre-order, the new Chelsea football shirt has an official release date in September

Hopefully the referees will CLEARLY be able to see the Drogba misleadingly trying to dive in the penalty box – in this putrid kit :D

If it was White or Yellow it would be beautiful. But green? What the hell…

this looks like something nike would have come up with in recent years, kinda slightly reminds me of that 2002-2003 arsenal away kit but only the mid section of the shirt with the fading and the funky pattern, not entirely but the first kit that comes to mind when i see this.

in reponse to the diving statements perhaps real and barca ought to have bright neon away kits too, ronaldo and iniesta are still the biggest culprits, they are disgraceful.

Ha Ha Ha does it glow in the dark? Who came up with this terrible jersey? Yes! It is Arsenal’s year, In fact ever single one of Chelsea’s jerseys looks terrible, fire the designer. I mean the Seattle Sounders have a nice Adidas jersey in these colors why not Chelsea?

I’ve already gotten this kit. Somehow it was released earlier in Melbourne from Rebel Sports and I bought it straight away..

    @adam

I guess thats why Barcelona have got a Mint Green away kit, and why Real Madrid have got the bloody sun on their crest! :D

To make it easier for referees to see them cheating easily

I guess the new chelsea shirt is a little bright on the eyes but got to admire the effort of something new but should not always be so bold for diffrent design. 6.8 – 10 Rating
