Chelsea target David Villa of Valencia to replace Drogba and Shevchenko.
The Sun reports that Chelsea are looking to secure the services of Valencia and Spain striker David Villa.
It’s widely thought that Drogba and Shevchenko will leave in the summer with Drogba likely to team back up with Mourinho at either Inter Milan or Real Madrid and Shevchenko back to AC Milan.
The Sun reports that contact has already been made with the 26-year-old Spaniard’s representative, who confirmed David Villa would like to play in the Premier League.
The Spain international was originally wanted by Jose Mourinho two seasons ago.
Valencia refused to sell David Villa two years ago when Mourinho had been interested in the striker, but its though they are now looking to rebuild their squad.
