Chelsea 1-1 Bolton Wanderers 
Chelsea couldn’t muster a home win, but it made know difference as United prevailed at Wigan.
Chelsea were dealt an early blow when skipper John Terry was injured and was carried off with a dislocated elbow.
Terry is now doubtful for the Champions League final against Manchester United on May 21 in Moscow.
Andriy Shevchenko came off of the bench to give Chelsea the advantage, but a late Bolton equaliser from Matt Taylor ruined any chance they had.
As it happened, Manchester United had gone 2 up at Wigan so no matter what Chelsea did, they would not have been able to overcome them at the top of the Premier League.
