CECH TO HAVE SURGERY
Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech will need surgery following a training ground accident.
The Czech Republic international, just 25 years old, has missed the last nine games with an ankle problem, and was looking to return for Chelsea’s second leg Champions League tie with Fenerbahce.
A statement from the club on their website said:
Petr will begin his rehabilitation immediately and we hope to have him back playing as soon as possible.
