I appreciate Nike’s selling point with the whole distinctive orange colour and all being easier to spot, but if say everyone (or at least lots of players) on the pitch, particularly on the OTHER TEAM had Elite boots then wouldn’t this sort of…. not work? :/

Hmmm, don’t mean to be a grouch but i thought that was a pointless review. So he’s saying, yes you can pass in them, you can cross in them and close control in them is also pretty decent……………..pointless!!! The whole point of the elite range is about how they improve your performance over the “normal” boots but at a cost so surely he should review them together, speed testing and comparing his performance directly in training exercises and give us facts and figures to prove their worth or waste.

I personaly like the colourway on the elite series. I also think this is a great review, and im buying the Elite Superflys this saturday .

And one quick question:

I read how the pearlecent colour starts to fade away, but i was wondering if this hapens on the Superlfys. Mainly because it is a different material.

Russell thats not what he is saying. If you think about it. when you are dribbling, your head is usually down or slightly down, so when you pick your head up the first thing you see are cleats and know your teammate is wearing them you more than likely notice the bright orange instead of the usual dark or dull colors of cleats and pass to him.
i do agree with you on that if everyone has them then they do not make nearly as much of a difference. but you will probably notice a bit easier

So basically if a player from the opposite team has the elite you’re gonna pass to him? ROFL. It may help because it’s distinctive but when everyone has them it’s another story.

first elite review ive seen out there, footy boots on the ball as usual. so how does the kanga lite break in compared to kangaroo leather?

and if anyone likes the color idea but doesnt have $400 to spare i know the whole mercurial line is coming out in the world cup colors and i would assume nike would make the other lines as well but i cant be certain
