i have to agree that this is indeed a good looking boot that'll get teammates taking... the classy white, the striking blue, and don't forget the epic placement of umbro's red insignia.
however, it seems that the only thing this boots does is selling the original stealth! everyone i know is start buying stealth I after this boots came out. even real madrid's pepe are still wearing his stealth I.

oh, and not to forget, it's about twice as expensive as the original stealth at the moment, automatically making the orginal stealth a better boot.
I remember, a couple of weeks after the stealth came out, it had it's prices slashed everywhere which led to a high uptake.

This looks a very good boot but I agree with zpucks.
I bought a pair of the original stealths just for the fun of it and due to the fact that most retailers are practically giving them away (about $40).
They are amazing boots and there was absolutely no reason for umbro to make the changes they made for the stealth II. I'd understand if the stealth I were still being made and the stealth II were just a variation because both boots have a very different presence and identity for me. The stealth's marquee player gael clichy fit them perfectly. It's a perfect boot for the full-back IMO. Light enough and strong enough and with decent touch. Perfect all round pair of boots.
These new ones don't seem to have that similar all-round appeal. Unlike the stealth I, each position can't raise their hands and say: "oh, there is a feature I would like". The carbon fibre and external heel counter were big pluses on the other one.
I'm probably not making sense anymore but if you've played in the original stealth you'll understand what I'm saying. I understand many prefer leather, (even me) but the stealth had a good role to play and it played it perfectly. With this new iteration it has become more of a "if you have no other choice and want to save money" kind of boot while the first one could actually be chosen over many other boots due to the unique combination of affordability, speed, power and control it offered. I'm not saying this new one doesn't offer that. What I'm saying is that it was an unneeded change and there is a good reason for the original ones to still be produced.
Then again, the boots don't make the player so it doesn't make much difference these changes umbro made yeah? Stealth 1 or stealth II, both are great boots for a great price.
PS: Prodirect has this as a power boot and the originals as a speed boot. Any thoughts on that?

im impressed with umbros recent attempts at making boots. i recently bought the umbro GT pro and although the toe area is a little narrower than i would of like it is a very decent boot... also i think the team at footy boots are Everton fans, nearly every time a post comes out atleast 1 everton player is mentioned

Shoulda kept the external Heel Counter and Carbon Fibre Sole Plate for sure. The original Stealth Pro had NO identity problems. It proudly was a true footballer's work horse, doing a little bit of everything RIGHTand for a great price. I loved it because it gave you great foot suppport and comfort all around. It gave me a sense of security when battling out in damp pitches (Some boots really can do that).
ONLY complain on the original was the synthetic upper. It coulda been a bit more comfortable like Tejin but definately NOT leather. This new generation is really the one that is looking for a true identity if you ask me..
Trust me the original Stealth Pro was definately a boot that belongs in anybody's arsenal. I'm stocking up on them while I still can.
