David Beckham has agreed to a five year deal with Los Angeles Galaxy who play in the Major League Soccer, USA.
David Beckham, former England captain and Manchester United player, has signed a five rear deal with LA Galaxy. He will join LA Galaxy at the end of the season, once his current contract has expired.
Beckham said “I am proud to have played for two of the biggest clubs in football. I look forward to the new challenge of growing the world’s most popular game in a country that is as passionate about its sport as my own.”
Real Madrid made this statement “Both parties have agreed that Beckham will not extend his current contract, which ends on 30 June 2007.”

A step in the right direction for him am sure… but more for the money than the actual football; more for the celebrity than the athlete… but then again, whats the difference these days?
