Bad Boy Barton and Bowyer have both been cleared of punishment from the FA.
Joey Barton will not be charged for the incident with Aston Villa’s Shaun Maloney at the weekend. Barton was said to have thrown a punch at Maloney, but video evidence cleared Barton.
Meanwhile, Lee Bowyer has had his red card revoked. Bowyer was sent off for a two footed tackle on Damien Johnson, again video evidence has cleared Bowyer.
