Charle asked:

Are the Nike Euro Brown boot collection leather or Teijen Microfibre as many retailers have put down different specification?

Answer

Hello Charle,

The Nike Euro 08 Vapor IV’s have been receiving mixed reviews on various websites across the net. From what we’ve heard directÂÂ

Bruno asked:

what pair of football boots does samir nasri wear?

Answer

Hi Bruno,

Samir Nasri has last been seen sporting the Adidas F50.8 in the white/true blue/infrared colorway. He has taken his personaltization a step further by cutting off the lacecover as many wearers of the F50’s have done including Arjen Robben.

steven asked:

Are the studs for the f50.7 the same as the f50.8

Answer

Hi Steven,

All of the components in the F50.6, F50.7, & F50.8 models are interchangable in the stud system. So to answer your question, yes the studs will work from in both models of the Tunit system.

Easy E asked:

I have pretty wide feet and im not sure if Nike Mercurial Vapor IV are wide or narrow
could u reccomend a boot which are quite wide please?

Answer

Hey Easy E,

Your best bet is to go to a local football shop and try them on and find the fit of your desire. Regarding the fit of the Mercurial Vapor IV’s, they are much different compared to the previous Mercurial models. The width runs the same from the toebox to the heel and is in the mold of a regular fit. The Teijin synthetic, however, molds to the shape of any foot and is definitely flexible enough to mold to a wider foot.

Lee W asked:

how much do puma V1.08 weigh? and how much do adidas F50.8 weigh?

Answer

Hey Lee W,

The Puma V1.08 weigh 7.6 oz. and the Adidas F50.8 weigh 11.6 oz. If you’re looking for a light boot then the V1.08’s are the way to go.

junior asked:

what boots does lionel messi were?

Answer

Howdy Junior,

Lionel Messi wears the tunning white/true blue/infrared Adidas F50.8 Tunit. Messi has had Adidas customize them for him by exchanging the Tunit stud system with the F30.8 soleplate.

Andy asked:

Hi.

I get blisters on the heel by my new MV VI’s, and when I’ve played for about 15-20 min I feel some pain at the side of my big toe - how can I get this problem solved?

Answer

Hi Andy,

With regards to the blisters, it’s a matter of breaking the football boots in. Try using blister plasters, specially made to help with blisters. Available from all good pharmacies, and a few bad ones too!

Regarding the toe, we’re no doctors, just boot geeks. Perhaps a trip to the doctors, or give us a bit more detail!

Thomas asked:

Are they coming out with any new colors for the Nike Mercurial Vapor IV”S?

Answer

Hi Thomas,

Yes the Mercurial Vapor IV football boots will be available in different colourways, and if you want to you can create your own colourways using the NikeID service.

rhoninho asked:

how much space do you recommend between your toe and the tip of the shoe, for a tight but not too tight, comfortable fit? 1/4 in, 1/2 in?

Answer

Hi Rohoninho,

It’s a question of preference really, although we’d suggest that half an inch is a bit too much space! Try a couple of pairs on with your football socks in place and try and get a feel for what is comfortable.

darryl asked:

was messi wearing f30s againt united?

Answer

Hi Darryl,

Lionel Messi does wear the F30, its a personal choice!

leonard asked:

hey umm i just got new cleats and i need to wear them tomorrow other than wearing them around the house whats another quick way to break them in?

Answer

Hi Leonard,

There is no real short cut. Try wearing them in training for 15-20 minutes or so, then extend that period next time and so on until the football boots are comfortable.

Matty R asked:

Hi Guys, just wondering if you know why Fernando Torres sole plate on his vapours are different to the ones you can buy? Can i buy them like that?

Thanks

Answer

Hey Matty,

I think you may be a bit mistaken, Torres sports the Nike Total 90 Laser II’s, not the Vapor IV’s, and is one of Nike’sÂÂ

martin asked:

I’ve just bought some adidas pred absolions and they cause blister on the side of 1 heel where the protective heel plastic is, how can i break in this area quickly

Answer

Hey Martin,

A quick way to break the heel in is to force a tennis ball or something that fits well there and leave it until the heel stretches out enough. Wearing them around the house when not playing can also help.

Thierry asked:

Hi Geeks

Im a boot finatic not like you of course. I have had the predator, vapor 2 and 3, v1.06,air legend, konstrukt and the total 90 3. but im looking for a boot that is fairly light has a nice sweet spot and great feeling.I have thought about the Sprintfit, maximus and the lazer what do you reckon and where can i find them cheap

Answer

Hi Thierry,

Good to hear from a fellow Boot Geek.

All the football boots you mention are relatively light and well recomended. But you ask for a sweetspot, so we suggest you try on a pair of the new Laser II’s.

You can pre order them now, but they won’t be released until the 1st May, so we’d suggest you wait and try a pair on before making a decision.

If you do want to order them now, you can pre order them here.

Cristiano asked:

Were do i buy the new Nike Mercurial SL

Answer
