Because of how extensively k-leather is used, you have a vast selection of boots to choose from. As far as a k-leather boot being light-weight and hugging, you may want to look towards adidas and Puma. We think you mean do you need to be light to wear Mercurial Vapor’s - the short answer to that is no. Just look at Drogba, one of the heaviest players in the Premier League and he wears the MVIV.
If you meant light to wear them in orange - light headed perhaps, or short on fashion sense, but whatever colour you play in it has no bearing on your body weight.

Yes, Nike will feature another white colourway in the Mercurial range. This time it will be a white/blue spark/metallic silver colourway and will be released July 1, 2008. Be sure to be on the lookout at the beginning of the 08/09 Premier League season and see if you spot Ronny sporting them in a United kit(that is if he’s not at Real).

Carlitos currently wears the Nike Air Legends-White/Metro Blue/Navy. He is one of the few contracted Nike footballers that has not made the switch to the Nike Air Legend II’s. This makes it very likely that by autumn Tevez will have switched to a new colourway of the Nike Air Legend II’s or the unreleased Nike Super Ligeras.

The Mercurial Vapor, the T90 Laser and Tiempo will all incorporate clean and technical outsole plates in a vivid blue, contrasted with vintage soft & crafted chocolate brown leather. The k-leather can appear to be black at times, it seems, as many people have mistaken them for being black. Regarding the Nike Mercurial Vapor IV’s, we know at least one white colourway will be featured in the line: white/blue spark/metallic silver - 7/1/2008. I’m sorry but we can’t release pictures at this time due to policy restrictions.

New colorways are still expected to be released in that time frame so you will continue to see Nike’s contracted players wearing the Nike Total 90 Laser II’s in the coming season of football.
