We assume you are talking about the originals from 1978, if so you have a decent pair of football boots.

We are not valuers, but we suggest you give some information regarding their condition. Are they unused? If used, how worn are they? Do you have the original packaging etc….

If we were you, we’d get a nice casing and keep them!

The shape of your foot is what should determine what boots you should buy in this case. Both are great boots ,but we would have to reccommend the adidas adiPURE if your foot is narrow. However there have been complaints about lack of cushion in the sole of the adiPURE’s whereas Nike’s Air Legend II’s have no such problem with their Air Zoom unit in the heel. You may also want to consider the newly released Nike Super Ligera, which is durable, light, and comfortable. Good luck in your tournament mate!

Nike still have some colourways in the making for the current model before the release of the Nike Mercurial Vapor 5. None have been confirmed ,but we have seen the following colours of the Nike Mercurial Vapor IV’s:

The adidas adiPURE is about to be discontinued due to the imminent release of its predecessor, the adidas adiPURE II. This of course means that there will not be any additional colourways of the adidas adiPURE before the adiPURE II’s are released on  January 1, 2009.
