However, now that Hugo Sanchez has been given the ‘boot’ of Mexico, the names banded about as replacements include former Argentina national team manager Jose Pekerman, Javier Aguirre of Atletico Madrid and Brazilian Luis Felipe Scolari, the Portuguese national team manager. If Mexico can land him, we’d suggest getting Big Phil Scolari.

Regarding Carlos Vela, Arsenal have high hopes for the youngster playing on loan at Osasuna at the moment. He’s on loan in Spain as he has been unable to get a work permit to play in the UK. However he should be getting a Spanish passport now, so expect to see him at Arsenal in the summer and either in the Arsenal squad next season, or farmed out to an English based club for some localised experience.

The original T90 Laser was in the shops at the end of May last year, the T90 Laser II is available from the 1st May, so it’s been an 11 month cycle.

Ronaldo wears a secondary sock and tape around his ankles, something that has become quite popular of late with a number of players.

Basically, he cuts of the ‘foot’ of his regular football sock, puts on a separate shorter sock, then his shin pads, then the ‘cut off’ football sock.

Once that’s done, he tapes the small sock and the cut off sock together.
