Arsenal have won the domestic double after they saw off Leeds United to land the women’s FA Cup in Nottingham.
The Gunners drew a blank in the first half but a 3 goal blitz in six, second half minutes effectively ended the contest.
Kelly Smith put the league champions ahead and her effort was followed by goals from Jayne Ludlow and Lianne Sanderson.
Leeds pulled a goal back through Jessica Clarke but Smith was on hand to tap in her second of the game and Arsenal’s fourth to secure a record ninth Cup triumph.
