Yet again, this time with over 2500 votes counted, another Footy Boots poll has thrown up a very close result with opinion from players, fans and experts virtually split down the middle.

Today, we can reveal that in the Great adiPure Debate, the adiPure II has come out on top, but only just.

When voting closed this morning, the newer model had polled 1361 votes, which accounted for 53% of the electorate. The adiPure I finished with 1218 votes and 47%.

Interestingly, those who commented in addition to voting were pretty passionate about the adiPure I, particularly with regards to the fit. Many of you felt the look of the adiPure II was better but also that the boot was a bit narrow across the front of the foot.

Those in favour of the adiPure I included Toppo who said: “on the II the front is far too tight and because the laces are on the side they are hard to do up. The adiPure I is loads better because I can actually wear them.”  He was backed up by st.huba who stated: “I have both boots and I must say that the adiPure I has a much better shot stability.”

Coming out in favour of the adiPure II included Frank who commented: “I think the 2  is much better! The new, smooth inside rocks(!) and they are just much better then the first. The best boots I’ve ever worn.” Aussie lad was another to front up for the adiPure II adding: “The design of the 2 seems a lot classier, plus I’m sure they have maintained and improved on the 1’s.”
