It was only a few days ago that we showed you the new adidas adiPure II in Red / White / Black.

There’s still another new colourway to come and we should be able to bring that to you in a few weeks or so. In the meantime, here’s that latest adiPure II, though not one that will be retailed in Europe.

This new boot in a White / Fairway Green /Metallic Silver colourway is only going to be available in the USA, where it’s currently on sale for around â‚¬130, though if you hunt hard enough, it is possible to find somewhat cheaper.

The colours could well have been inspired by the design of the original, long running adidas Stan Smith tennis series (rather appropriate after one of the best Wimbledon men’s singles finals of all time).

Tech Specs: Hand crafted for comfort, quality and performance. A pure and sleek design that is all football.

Upper: Welded 3-Stripes. Asymmetrical loop lacing for better ball contact. K-Leather for durability, lightness and glove-like fit.

Lining: Synthetic.

Inlay: Pre-molded sockliner with EVA patch in the heel for additional comfort.

Outsole: TRAXION FG for grip and comfort on firm natural surfaces. TPU Plate for lightweight performance and durability.

I recently purchased these and worn them a few times and I must say – I love them! I have been a Predator wearer for the past 10 years and one of the reasons I switched is because the new Preds (TruStrike) are (f)ugly so I decided to get these. They are awesome and I recommend them!

Not only are these appropriate for Wimbledon, but Tiger Woods just won the AT&T Championship. I love the Fairway Green colour.

To the footy-boots folks: A while back you did a column on a UK boot manufacturer that actually custom made their boots to fit the wearer’s feet. I’ve forgotten the name and lost the website of the manufacturer. The boots were extremely expensive though and so I thought it would be good information to have. Any information you could provide would help. Thanks.
